What's Driving You Crazy? - A road closure as part of NDOT's I-515/Charleston project

LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) - Another round of closures and lane restrictions on the Nevada Dept of Transportation's big project at Charleston and the 95/515

This is a heads-up for drivers who use Pecos under the freeway:

Starting tonight and running every night this week until Friday morning, you'll have to find another way. I'd suggest Mojave.

And even during the day when Pecos is open under the 95/515, the ongoing NDOT work will take lanes away.

There's a ton of work that'll be going on all around Charleston and the 95/515 until it's scheduled completion in 2024.

Las Vegas police dog involved in car chase crash in good condition

LAS VEGAS (KLAS)-- The police dog involved in a head-on collision following a violent vehicle chase on Aug 11 has fully recovered, according to a tweet from Metro. Boris, a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois was inside a police vehicle when it was struck head-on by a man fleeing police. Boris was taken to a veterinary hospital following the accident, and police said he is recovering well. Las Vegas hosts Professional Pickleball Association final grand slam event

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Pickleball is one of the fastest-rising sports in the world and the top players are competing this week in Las Vegas. Ben Johns, the number two ranked player, no doubt feels the pressure as he is competing against other of the world's best pickleball ball players this week. "Billie Jean King said pressure is a privilege and I definitely very much agree with that," Johns said.
