Pedestrian struck, killed in east Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS)-- Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a deadly vehicle collision in the east valley.

Per Metro, a pedestrian was struck at Boulder Highway and East Russell Road, near Clark County Wetlands Park.

Police said the pedestrian was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

No further information has been released.
