Golden Knights faceoff: Oilers offensive wizard McDavid visits T-Mobile Arena

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Connor McDavid leads the Edmonton Oilers against the Golden Knights on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena.

McDavid, the NHL scoring leader -- he ranks first in goals (37) and assists (45) -- scored twice in a 7-1 victory over San Jose on Friday night.

McDavid's overtime goal on Nov. 19 was the difference in a 4-3 victory over the Golden Knights in Edmonton.

Las Vegas police dog involved in car chase crash in good condition

LAS VEGAS (KLAS)-- The police dog involved in a head-on collision following a violent vehicle chase on Aug 11 has fully recovered, according to a tweet from Metro. Boris, a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois was inside a police vehicle when it was struck head-on by a man fleeing police. Boris was taken to a veterinary hospital following the accident, and police said he is recovering well.
